I have training and experience in all three aspects of musical theatre: singing, dance, and acting.

My experience of performance has spanned many years and includes:-

  • Performing as part of a dance troupe at Royal Albert Hall London.

  • Performing at Bobby Dazzlers at Her Majesties theatre, West End, London.

  • I have performed in many dance shows at my dance school, De Burneys Retford.

  • Performed and was placed in many music and drama festivals.

  • Performed in high scorers concerts for ABRSM exams.

  • Performed in Ensemble in Gangster Granny in College

  • Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors in college.

  • Jane Seymour in Six in College.

  • As part of my degree, I have devised and performed my Repertoire, using themes such as lesser-known musicals and ADHD awareness.

  • Ensemble in Carrie the Musical and Medusa whilst studying B.A(Hons)Musical Theatre.

  • Performed as Catherine Eddowes in The Women of Whitechapel (a new musical written by students of Miseryloves company) at York Theatre Royal Takeover Festival. Currently being considered for Graduate Prize.

  • Developing and leading Workshop based on The Lion King for children aged 5-10 yrs at York Theatre Royal Takeover Festival.

WORK HISTORY

Bar Service     03/2024 - Current 

Tickhill Cricket Club - Tickhill, South Yorkshire 

•    Closely monitored stock levels to implement necessary replenishments for smooth-running bar service.

•    Helped train team to deliver high levels of bar service to increase customer satisfaction.

•    Prepared and served various beverages efficiently, maintaining prompt bar service during peak business hours.

•    Ensuring excellent quality of customer care.

Assistant Dog Groomer     04/2019 - Current 

Bowtique Dog Groomers - Tickhill, South Yorkshire 

•    Prepare studio and equipment.

•    Meet and greet clients and their dogs.

•    Wash, dry, and prepare dogs to be ready for grooming.

•    Assist the groomer with challenging dogs and reassure nervous dogs.

Front of House Team Member     05/2023 - 09/2023 

The Blacksmiths - Clayworth, Nottinghamshire 

•    Served customers food and drinks both inside the restaurant and outside in the garden.

•    Prepared tables for customer arrival and seating customers upon their arrival.

•    Preparing cutlery and linen for customers' arrival.

•    Communicated with customers regarding their enjoyment of the restaurant experience.

Volunteer, Covid clinic     12/2020 - 02/2022 

Larwood Surgery - Worksop, Nottinghamshire 

•    Assist patients with entering the clinic and queuing for vaccination.

•    Assist clinical staff in the smooth running of the clinic and assisting in any medical emergencies.

•    Liaise with patients and staff.

Admin support for Covid clinic     01/2020 - 02/2022 

Larwood surgery - Worksop, Nottinghamshire 

•    Meet and greet patients attending the clinic.

•    Used IT skills with Pinnacle Patient administration data entry.

•    Assisted vaccination nurse with admin support, checking patient details and vaccination details.

•    Assisting in the smooth organisation of clinics.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

 

•    My hobbies and interests mainly centre around performing arts. I enjoy singing and dancing lessons and have been successful in many exams in these subjects. 

•    I enjoy watching films and listening to music. 

•    I also enjoy going to the theatre to watch musicals. 

•    I am currently learning to cook and bake. 

•    I also enjoy spending time with friends, family and my two dogs. 

 

 

SUMMARY

 

I am an accomplished student in the third and final year of a Musical Theatre degree. I have a reputation for hard work, reliability and a willingness to learn new things. I relish the opportunity to take on a challenging new role. I feel that the skills that I have already developed are transferable to many roles within any organisation. I am motivated to develop further skills and feel I could be a valuable team member.
